"The product you produce is unique and very helpful to me as a Division I golf coach. Thank you for your dream, your time, your energy, and your great vision to accomplish this dream."
Division I Woman's Coach - November 2006
"The Junior Golf Scoreboard is the best and most comprehensive recruiting
service I have seen. I use it on a regular basis and sometimes daily during
the summer months..."
- Head Coach, Division I, 2002 NCAA Championships.
There are over 1,200 colleges and junior colleges looking for players and they have
done 96678 searches here on the Junior Golf Scoreboard.
With each school needing to recruit at least two players for both men's and
women's teams, that means the schools need more than 3,500 players. As a
result, there is virtually a spot for every junior golfer who wants to play
golf.

Have college coaches actually found players on the Junior Golf Scoreboard?
Yes and have also successfully recruited them to attend their schools. Over the last four years coaches have accessed the profile database more than 5,400 times. This means more than 110 times a month so that, on average, every day there are at least three coaches looking at profiles here on the Junior Golf Scoreboard.

|
What schools are using the profile service?
NCAA regulations prohibit us from naming which schools use JGS but over 500
programs have requested access to Coaches Corner in writing. Call for more
info. 888-549-4653.

Why should I post my profile or resume here especially
if I'm just starting high school?
There are several reasons. They include:
- It is important as early as possible to get college coaches to ask "Where have I seen that name before?" You want name recognition and since your name will be highlighted and linked to your profile in the rankings and all of your results here on the Scoreboard, you'll be increasing the chances this will happen.
- When NCAA rules permit coaches to contact you, you are making it much easier for them to know how to send you information or call. One coach recently told us they had to make 13 calls to get an address for a player. Don't be hard to find.
- A profile is a good place to put results for tournaments we do not have or use. These include your high school results and "adult" tournaments you may have played.
- A profile gives you a chance to tell the coach a little more about you in the Highlights section and to show them what kind of student you are.
- You can click on the "Printable Version" button and send a copy of your profile to a coach attached to an e-mail or a letter.
- Having your name highlighted linked to your profile in the Rankings and results clearly tells a coach you want to play college golf.

Do I have to have a profile to be ranked?
No. You will be ranked automatically when we have four tournaments for you.
A profile is not required to be ranked.
|
|
Does the Junior Golf Scoreboard automatically post scores or any other information to my profile?
No. You completely control the information in your profile. We do NOT post any scores to a players profile.
|
|
Do I have to call you to change my profile?
No. You have access to it 24 hours a day.
|
|
What's the best way to use my profile?
The best thing you can do is make sure the coaches at the schools you're
interested in know you have a profile. That way they can add you to their
"Recruit Folder" and track your progress automatically even if you're still
a freshman or sophomore.
